The hotel is situated fantastically up on the hill but just a short walk from Bakewell's center. The rooms are large and elegant with luxurious bathrooms, perfect for a few nights' stay. The service is top-notch, especially thanks to Martin, who made us feel very welcome and helped with our bags. The location offers a serene setting just minutes away from the town, ideal for those who enjoy some tranquility. The dining experience, while offering beautiful food, may benefit from a wider variety. The hotel facilities are up to standard, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Bagshaw Hall is a welcoming place with spacious rooms ideal for two adults and a large dog. The kitchenette was well-equipped, but the absence of an ice tray was a minor inconvenience. The service was exceptional with staff going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay and offering local dining recommendations with discounts.
